Alrihkh Big Big Train are masters at weaving the threads of their individual musical talents into a spectacular vision that scrolls through one’s receptive mind. This song is a grand tapestry that enchantingly comes alive if you listen to it. It feels like a scintillating stroll of discovery, a refreshing walk in the countryside. Enough metaphors, I suppose. It’s an epic song in the prog rock realm. Very enjoyable, very well done. Thx, BBT! 9+/10. Favorite track: London Song.

about

This song cycle (Turner On The Thames / London Plane / Lost Rivers Of London / London Stone / Skylon / Mudlarks) brings together a number of London-themed songs and was originally released on download and streaming platforms in 2017. For this 2020 version, the band recorded additional keyboards and bass pedals and re-edited the song cycle to improve the flow of the piece.
